The art of creating a golf course

Each project is created by Espinosa Golf Design as a masterpiece, unique and one-time-only, which will be later put into practice with its careful and constant management throughout the whole performance of the works.

Founding President

Ramón Espinosa, currently Senior Member of the E.I.G.C.A. (European Institute of Golf Course Architects), president of the E.S.G.A. (European Society of Golf Course Architects) during the years 1994 to 1998, and Agronomist Engineer Doctor by the Politécnica University of Madrid, has an experience of over 45 years in golf courses designs and projects.

Multidisciplinary projects

When you start working on a new project, all the experience and knowledge previously acquired sets up to analyze and study deeply the land to be transformed. Before starting with the design of a golf course you must consider a lot of previous factors, as the field area, its shape and geography, orientation of the holes, the surrounding environment and landscape, its functionality and safety. A good quality golf course design must achieve that the players come and repeat the play of the course frequently.
